Sandra serves as Executive Director of the Agency and has seen many changes in the local Meals on Wheels program since her arrival in 1986. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Management from Calumet College and a Master’s Certificate in Non Profit Management from Indiana University Northwest. Sandra is certified as a Nutrition Program Administrator, a member of the Nutrition Fellows Leadership Institute, and an alumnus of Leadership Northwest Indiana.
During her tenure at Meals on Wheels, Sandra has attained membership to many organizations.
Sandra serves on the National Board of Directors for Meals on Wheels Association of America. This experience will give me the opportunity to learn, advocate, share information and incorporate best practices on the issue of Senior Hunger. In addition, I am a voice for our community on the National Levels as I bring local issues to the Association who can help us solve an issue as complex as Senior Hunger.”
Since 1988, she has been a member of Meals on Wheels Association of America.
Sandra loves to run, sail with her husband, and spend time with her three grown children, and granddaughter, Peyton!

Volunteer Manager

Michael is no stranger to Meals on Wheels. He has been with us since 2006 working in the Operations Department of the organization. He possesses an acute sense of the work necessary to complete the tasks at hand; and more importantly, understands the critical role volunteers play in the Mission of Meals on Wheels. As a young professional, Michael brings a “fresh energy and new perspective” to the Volunteer Department; allowing our Volunteer Program to grow.

Cyndi has practiced not-for-profit accounting for the past eleven years; and has been with Meals on Wheels for six of those years.
Cyndi ensures that our Meals on Wheels office runs smoothly by providing accounting and human resource expertise to the agency.
Cyndi is a member of the Northwest Indiana Society of Human Resource Managers (NWI SHRM); and was elected to the NWI SHRM Board of Directors in 2010 and currently serves as the Diversity Committee Chair.
Cyndi Harbin earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Valparaiso University, Valparaiso, IN.

Tula joined Meals on Wheels in January of 2008, brining with her a unique combination of experiences from both the business and non-profit sectors of our community.
Tula makes the most of the combination of innovative resourcefulness and entrepreneurial spirit to maximize the financial resources for Meals on Wheels and enhancing the Community Relations and Development Department of Meals on Wheels.
Tula is a Charter Member and the Board Vice President of the local Association of Fundraising Professionals; a Member of the Meals on Wheels Association of America (MOWAA); and is working to complete MOWAA Certification in the areas of Marketing and Development and her Certified Fund Raising Executive Certification (CFRE).
Tula received her Bachelor of Arts Degree from DePauw University, in Greencastle, IN.
Kitchen Operations Manager

Kristine worked her way through the ranks of the Food Service Department for eight years before taking the helm as Director of Food Service in October of 2010.
Kristine’s complete knowledge of the day to day activities and tasks are necessary to ensure that more than 1,700 meals are prepared and make their way to our clients’ homes.
Kristine is a member of Meals on Wheels Association of America (MOWAA) and is working to complete her MOWAA certification in the area of Nutrition.
Kristine is holds her ServeSafe Certification which is accredited by the American National Standards Institute for Food Protection.
